Siemens to float medical solutions division

Healthineers, Siemens’s MedTech (medical imaging and diagnostics) division, is to be the subject of an initial public offering (IPO) by the company who expected it to reach a value of around €40bn (S$65b). Healthineers is one of the largest of Siemens’ nine divisions by revenue (sales of €3.7bn in Q4 2017) and also in terms of profitability.
