CDT in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Industry Day

The CDT TERM – iMBE together with our industry collaborators are pleased to announce an Industry Event which aims to identify and solve industry led challenges and accelerate the development of regenerative medicine therapies and devices.
This meeting brings together clinical, academic and commercial expertise to enhance relationships and to develop research projects that address current challenges in regenerative medicine and medical engineering

The University of Leeds has recently been awarded £3.2 million for a new EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine to support 50 PhD studentships.
Get involved
The Centre aims to develop effective clinical therapies for the treatment of human diseases and disabilities. We are seeking partners who can help us enhance an industry-driven research programme. To introduce you to the Centre and our researcher students we are hosting a workshop on 28th April 2014.

Innovative Manufacturing in Medical Devices – the 37th Leeds iMBE Annual Day Conference and EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Medical Devices (MeDe Innovation) Launch
The 37th Leeds iMBE Annual Day Conference and EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Medical Devices (MeDe Innovation) Launch will be focussed around “Innovative Manufacturing of Medical Devices” as part of the launch for the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing.
This year’s conference will take place on Friday 10 January, at the Metropole Hotel, King Street, Leeds.
Delegates will hear from respected industry and academic experts and learn how the Institute and Centre is stimulating translation and connecting the medical device community in the UK in order to accelerate manufacturing processes through to business and the clinic.
