MedTech BEST (Business and Entrepreneurial Skills Training) is about taking research into the marketplace (translation).  Our undergraduates and postgraduates on the course have learnt about the skills, evidence, and regulations needed and the challenges likely to be encountered in commericialisation.

Teams have agreed an idea for a technology and formed a fictional company and built a business and technology case around their idea.

In this final pitch: each team member has a “board level” role in their company and will pitch to a Dragon’s Den-type judging panel of senior representatives from industry, academic and innovation professionals.

Networking with drinks and nibbles are available after the event.
